It passes through the streets of Saussaies, Fresno, Compiegne, the Train of death camps Dachau and the Neckar, where he is imprisoned July 23, 1944 before being miraculously released in April 1945. On his return to France he published in "Dawn" the story of his captivity in 23 episodes. A narrative deliberately stripped of all emphasis, pathetic just because he is truth itself.
